Inaugural Vortex Music Festival Announced

Featuring an all-star lineup of Asheville and regionally-based bands and only a $50 dollar advance ticket for two full days of music, the Vortex Music Festival begins its residence in Asheville on June 27 and 28th at the Asheville Civic Center.

Come July, I can always feel the magnetic pull of Floydfest World Music & Arts festival; 2007 was no different. The journey down the Blue Ridge Parkway is glorious; lush green trees atop majestic mountains usher you into one of the most peaceful and inspiring weekends of the summer. The sky looked a bit iffy, so I prayed for sunlight to bless the fine folks who have worked for months and months to provide this magical experience for music lovers. Each time we stopped for gas we saw a pack of our Floydfest friends on their journey; it feels great to be a part of the family!

The Echo Project, October 12-14, 2007

The Echo Project kicks off its annual eco-responsible music and arts festival in Atlanta, Georgia this October 12 – 14, 2007. The three-day, multi-stage camping festival will be held on 350-acres of scenic Chattahoochee river front property on a privately owned 1250-acre farm just south of metropolitan Atlanta.
